The "Find Information Tool" is a very important tool that can be used with a computer or a tablet or most smart phones, and it is very easy to set up and use.
Computer with physical keyboard: Go to the department of this website that you want to search for a specific word, or phrase, or partial sentence, and then press the Control key (Ctrl) and the F key at the same. A small horizontal rectangular window will appear, usually in the lower left corner of a computer display screen, but sometimes it appear at the top of the display screen.
Move the cursor into the left most space in the small horizontal window and then type the word, or phrase or partial sentence that you want to search for in this small horizontal window area. The words or phrase must be precise - exactly like they are shown in the department that you will be searching in.
The computer will instantly search the entire department for the words being searched for and if it finds multiple locations for that search item, to the right of the window, it will usually give the number of locations that it found, and it will instantly go to one of those highlighted locations. Example: 1 of 8.
To the right side of the search horizontal rectangular window, you will see some control functions such as an up arrow symbol and a down arrow symbol that you can use to move from one found entry to the next found entry. All of the found locations will usually be identified with a bold color, either red or green or yellow.
When you complete your search, use your cursor again to start a delete action for the item (word, term, phrase, etc.) that you were searching for (as shown in the small horizontal window area). You can delete the search information typed into the search window.
Using a tablet: On the Amazon.com tablet that we use, we go to the top of the screen and find a 3 vertical dot icon - select that icon and get a drop-down menu. At the top row of this menu, we find a search icon that looks like a magnifying glass - a circle with a stick type handle - select that icon and the horizontal rectangular window appears at the top right side of the screen and inside the window is the term "Find in page."
Place your cursor in the left-most space in the small window and then type the word or term or partial sentence that you want to search for and the search is instantly performed. The term will be found and highlighted in red color or green color or yellow color for each location found. Our Amazon type tablet does not show how many locations were found.
To terminate the Find information function, use your cursor to select the X at the right side of the small horizontal rectangular window and the find information function terminates instantly.
Android smart phone: At the top of the screen, find the 3 vertical dot icon and select it. A drop-down menu appears. Select the "Find on page" function and a small horizontal rectangular window appears at the top of the screen with the words "Find on page" inside the window.
Use your cursor to select the left-most space in the small search window and then type the word, phrase, or partial sentence that you want to search for. You will get a response instantly that selects one of the found locations, highlighted in color (red or green) and it also tells you how many locations were found like this: 1/6 You will have up and down arrow keys to use to move from one found location to the next. Select the X function to terminate the "find on page" function.

We presume that an iPhone smart phone will work somewhat similar to the Android smart phone.
This find information function may take a little practice to get comfortable with, but it is an important function that can be very helpful if you have notes about a department and you want to quickly find the location where the notes were initially made from. A little practice will make this a very easy and very helpful function to use often.
